For 12 weeks, I suffered from severe pain in the shoulder, back, neck and arm. I was depressed about it and it affected every part of my life. The pain affected my sleep and my appetite. I couldn’t play golf, and it took all that I had to get through work. I saw a chiropractor and the medical doctors put me on Lexapro, an anti-depressant, which made me very lethargic. I was also taking the pain medication Vicodin. I had negative results and the medications didn’t really alleviate the pain. The drugs just made me drowsy.
On March 14, 2005, I came to the Natural Medicine Center. My friends were talking about getting acupuncture and that prompted me to get started, but I really didn’t know much about it. The clinic has a good environment and was very nice with happy people enjoying what they are doing. There were lots of smiles. The treatments were relaxing and exhilarating.
