Before coming here, I suffered from 3-4 months of pain due to tendonitis. I had trouble using my elbows, and I couldn’t open water bottles. I sought the help of chiropractic care for 1 month and it didn’t help. For about 20 years I also had female system disorders with irregular periods and prolonged cycles. The OBGYN put me on birth control pills to regulate my periods. I stopped taking the birth control pills because I don’t like to take hormones, but my cycles were still not regular. I also had frequent urination and would go to the bathroom once every hour. I would have to go to the bathroom during the movies, and I would sit in the aisle seats on airplanes.
On April 20, 2005, I came to the Natural Medicine Center based upon the referral of a friend who came here. I hoped to get help for my tendonitis and I also began treatments for my female system. It made sense that my female system was weak – I had 2 miscarriages prior, and I wanted to prevent other problems later on. I was very impressed with the professionalism and cleanliness of the clinic and the positive and happy atmosphere. I started with acupuncture and herbal medicine and began attending classes.
Within a month, the tendonitis was reduced by 80%. By the 2nd month, the tendonitis was completely gone. For the female system, my 35 day periods have been regulated for the past 3 months. I now have 28 day cycles and my energy has increased. As an added benefit, I noticed that I can now hold my urination better and I have an improved quality of life.
I feel wonderful about the results and I am a firm believer in natural medicine. I have referred other patients and encourage others to try it. I prayed for a good acupuncturist and my prayer was answered. My husband, who was skeptical at first, is now a patient.
