I started going to get treatment from Dr. Kevin Huang in summer of 2007. I was very skeptical at first until I started asking friends that actually received treatment and had great results. I decided to give it a try because I had just had my thyroid removed and was getting a lot of anxiety attacks due to the effects of my thyroid medication. Plus I was losing weight because I had no appetite. I was a mess!

I couldn’t sleep or sit for too long without feeling severe anxiety. My blood pressure shot way up and I had never had high blood pressure in my life. At this point I regretted having gone through my operation. I wish I had known about acupuncture before. I’m sure I would still have my thyroid and would have avoided all problems. So I decided to try Dr. Huang’s acupuncture treatment. He worked together with my endocrinologist and I started receiving needle treatments.

I felt amazing results for the first time in weeks. I was able to sleep and my anxiety started to go away immediately. I actually started to get hungry again and I started gaining weight. The medication for my thyroid started working for me too. I received treatments for three months and felt completely normal again. Wow!!! I could not believe it.

I asked Dr. Huang if I could use the last couple of treatment that I had left for my sinus problem that I was having for the last few years. I could not breathe, especially when we had rainy weather. You see I was allergic to mold. What a miracle! Just two treatments and I was able to breathe for the first time in years. I have not had a problem again and it has been over a year. I sleep well. No anxiety and I gained weight too. I feel great!

I referred my daughter to Dr. Huang for problems she was having and at first she too was skeptical but acupuncture has made a believer out of us. Our prayers were answered since we had been praying for help and I am so glad I came. I have no regrets. Acupuncture is wonderful!!!
